Tony Hsieh of Zappos fame has most definatley given the most inspiring speech of the conference so far with a real logical but different approach to business management and development.
At the end of the day Matt and I attended the live podcast of Boag World. This was a very funny session with some serious content. There is little point running through the points said as it is easier to listen to the pod cast which will be launched soon.
Jason Santa Maria
Daniel Burka - Digg/Pownce
Nicholas Felton - feltron.com
Emily Gordon - emdashes.com / printmag.com
Ian Adelman - nymag.com
The “Not the same old story” was a discussion panel moderated by Jason Santa Maria, The direction was good but content sparked interest without providing answers.
Paul Annett - Clearleft Ltd
Oooh, That's Clever! (Unnatural Experiments in Web Design)
This talk was very entertaining and was a good light-hearted introduction to the conference, although I felt the content was a little lacking and the plugs for Clearleft, sliverback, etc were a little too in your face.
Dan Willis - Sapient
Everything You Know About Web Design Is Wrong
This was our first talk of the conference and a good one to kick of the weekend. Dan purposed that as per film making one hundred years ago that web design is in it infancy and still hanging on to the coat tails of print design.
